MSF Dirt Bike

DirtBike School is a fun, one-day, hands-on training session available to anyone six years old or above. An MSF-certified DBS Coach will teach you basic riding skills and responsible riding practices, including risk management and environmental awareness.  The Closed Range Exercises are designed for new riders with no experience as well as novice riders, whether street or dirt, and provide an emphasis on safety and skill development. There is no coursework or certification provided to the rider, this is an experience course.  Licensed riders transitioning to dirt from street, as well as those wanting to practice skills and control, would also benefit greatly from a coached session.  + Classes organized by age (6-11), (12-15), (16-Adult)

Adventure

Licensed riders bring their own off-road capable motorcycle.  Generally, Adventure bikes are 650cc or greater.  This is a Closed Range class performed at low speeds to learn techniques and off-road skills.  Getting familiar with how your specific bike handles while performing certain skills is helpful as you are gaining muscle memory for those split-second decisions encountered out on the trail.  As an entry level course, lessons include but not limited to discussing Adventure gear for the rider and the bike, practicing proper body position sitting and standing, smooth clutch/throttle control, tight area maneuvering, off-camber scenarios, braking, obstacles and obstacle avoidance.  Experienced riders find this course useful as practice is key to reinforcing old and new skills.

Practice

You've taken our Dirt Bike or Adventure class and you want practice or would just like to have fun riding.   Bring your bike for coached range time where you can build muscle memory and master skills that will help gain confidence and proficiency for safe and enjoyable riding.  If you don't own a bike yet, we have some dirt bike rentals, however, we do not rent adventure bikes at this time.  You must arrange the rental in advance.  Practice sessions average 2-3 hours.
